Volunteer
Members have the opportunity to give back to the organization by volunteering on committees or special projects. Committee responsibilities vary but typically involve occasional meetings and the willingness to take on tasks. Serving on a committee benefits you by:
- Earning three HRCI recertification credits per year for Chapter Committee membership;
- Giving back to and promoting the HR profession;
- Developing relationships and contacts within and outside the Chapter;
- Enhancing your leadership skills through involvement with our SHRM Chapter;
- Participating in Chapter activities to help you assess you’d like to become a Board member.
The following committees need assistance throughout the year to ensure the success of Prince William SHRM. If you would like to participate in a committee, download and complete the Committee Application.
